Positive: The fridge was very spacious. The proximity to the lake was excellent. The balcony/outdoor area was nice and had good potential. However, there were too many spiders and a lot of dirt behind the outdoor sofa. The outdoor lights also did not work at night.
Negative: What I found particularly disappointing was that, instead of being able to rest and relax after arriving, I had to spend a considerable amount of time cleaning the accommodation myself. I simply cannot feel comfortable living in an environment that is dirty and unhygienic. This was not how I expected to spend my time during a holiday, and it significantly affected my overall experience. Some notes for improvement: - The kettle was full of limescale and I had to clean it before using it. It clearly needs regular maintenance, for example: use white vinegar. - The floors were sticky, as were the countertop and tables. - There was a significant amount of dust and dirt in the corners, under the sofa and underneath the beds. - There were many dead insects mixed with dust and dirt, which made the house feel unclean. - The house had an unpleasant smell and would benefit from a proper deep clean and thorough disinfection. - The mattresses were very worn out and too soft. Unfortunately, I woke up every day with severe back pain, which made my stay very uncomfortable. - There was no lighter available for the cooker, which was inconvenient. - The extractor hood was extremely greasy. - The balcony/outdoor area also needs better cleaning and maintenance, particularly behind and underneath the outdoor furniture.
Summary: Great location, but poor cleanliness, maintenance and uncomfortable mattresses affected our stay.
