Positive: Beach towels are provided! Netflix! The hosts respond very fast on WhatsApp The bed is very large and comfortable

Negative: 1. No sea view! Please update the listing, as it is misleading. None of the apartments have a real ocean view. At best, it is a very limited side sea view where the ocean is barely visible. Our actual view was a street with unattractive neighboring buildings and roosters. We chose this apartment specifically for the sea view, even though it was far and not an easy walking distance, and this was the main reason we booked it. 2. Maintenance: - Although the apartment is new (Room 304), it was in poor condition upon arrival: the bathroom door lock was broken, the towel holder was broken, and the front panel of a drawer fell off. These issues were fixed the next day after contacting the owner, but they should have been taken care of before arrival. - Very squeaky kitchenette cabinets, loud enough to wake everyone - Dead batteries in the TV and AC controllers — we had to swap batteries from one controller to another every time we needed to use them!!! - The shower head was damaged: water was spraying in different directions and many holes were clogged, making showering very difficult - Two hammocks were supposed to be on the balcony; there was only one, and it was ripped * On the day of departure, we found an electric scooter under the bed. We couldn’t understand if it was the owner's or if someone left it there and housekeeping never cleaned there to notice it 3. Cleanliness: This was the first place in my life where there was no body wash or shampoo upon arrival, despite them being expected. The containers were almost empty, and we had to contact housekeeping to have them filled. The containers were not labeled, so we had to guess which one was shampoo, body wash, or conditioner... 4. Location: If you are a backpacker or planning to go to Cozumel or travel by bus, the location is not good. Walking from the bus terminal in heat with luggage is very difficult. It is next to some old houses with roosters so I can't call it a quiet place

Summary: There's no sea view! It's side sea view (barely)! Far away from most of things in Playa del Carmen
