Our Suenos del Mar condos are located in the Vista Encantada development 52 miles north of Puerto Vallarta. If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place. Condos are nestled in the jungle with swimming pool and laundry facilities. Condos have air conditioning and fans in each room. Living room and balcony looks out to the Pacific Ocean. There is a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep 2 people. Kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes and cups, glasses, coffee maker, microwave and toaster. Summary: We spent the month of February at Vista Encantada in units 407 and 507 and witnessed the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. We had friends join us for a week and so we got both units for the month. Unit 407 is all on one floor and it was comprised of 1 1/2 bathrooms, a small kitchen with full sized fridge, gas stove and oven and microwave, a living room and king-size bedroom. At the entrance to 407 there were stairs that went upstairs to 507 which has another king-sized bedroom, full bathroom and a large deck with outside kitchen comprised of a small bar fridge, hot plate and microwave and lovely patio furniture. From this deck there is another set of stairs that takes you up to a rooftop lounge with 2 reclining beds and a cool water jacuzzi. Lovely for star-gazing as there are millions of stars at night. The road to Vista Encantada is very rough and goes through the small town of El Divisidero but worth the drive. The complex has a beautiful pool and fitness room. Sandra and Carlos and their staff were very accommodating and helpful. There is no cable TV but they do have Netflix which we used. The wifi is hit and miss so sometimes you couldn’t connect to the outside world but heck we were on vacation in Mexico! There is a quiet and beautiful beach about a 25 minute walk down a path or Pedro can give you a ride. There is also a beautiful beach at the little town of Chacala about 20 minutes drive away with great restaurants. Try Chicos and La Breza for great fish and shrimp and pico de Gallo! Also about 20 minutes away is La Penita Ja Latempa which has many restaurants and a fabulous Thursday market. We would suggest renting a car in Puerto Vallarta but if not there is a car available to rent on-site. All in all we had a great vacation, met fabulous people and enjoyed fabulous weather and sunsets.
